Poetry at the Port – Monthly Open Mic Series

Are you a lover of spoken word? Then please, join us once a month for a night of Poetry and Prose at the Port (au Prince).

Every month, our resident poet, and host will be Indran Amirthanayagam, a renowned published and awarded poet whose work spans the last two decades. Indran’s latest project, “Rankont Dout,” effortlessly combines original spoken word with emerging Haitian musicians.

Indran will share a melange of his personal and favorite poems, feature local and visiting poets, and pass the mic to community members who wish to share their love of, or gift in, poetry or prose.
