PAP World Music Series Presents: Kiyem Ade Trio

Meet us at Port-au-Prince – a crossroads for those who love Haiti, her culinary and artistic offerings, as well as the arts and culture beyond her shores. Indeed, we aim to be a true “port” where the world intentionally collides! On this memorial day weekend, we bring to you the Kiyem Ade trio!

Vocalist & Rhodes player Kiyem Ade possesses a smooth styling in both his writing and tone. A relaxing vibe, full of expression and meaning. His lyrics are personable, and speak to the times in a revealing mode. Rhythmic in his playing styles Kiyem tends towards grooves, that breath of poetry put to acoustic soul, with heavy melodic content. His love songs are serious and believable. As a native Washingtonian, Kiyem Ade is known for his jazz singing and song writing. His original music is well developed, respected, and thoughtful, fused with substance and feeling.
