PAP World Music Series Presents : Cuerpo y Alma Flamenco

Meet us at Port-au-Prince – a crossroads for those who love Haiti, her culinary and artistic offerings, as well as the arts and culture beyond her shores. Indeed, we aim to be a true “port” where the world intentionally collides! Next up in our music series, we present to you Cuerpo y Alma Flamenco!

When you walk down the streets of Sevilla on a summer night, sounds of flamenco pour out of every little bar and cafe. Music and wine flow freely, singers and dancers join in, friends clap and cheer “Ole!” — it’s all about duende, the soul, the swing, the emotion.

Cuerpo y Alma tries to capture a bit of this soul and bring it to the Washington metropolitan area. They are a collaboration of flamenco guitarists and dancers, world music and jazz musicians, joined by amazing guest performers.

So… come to #PAP this Saturday night, be sure to bring your appetite, your friends — but, most importantly, bring your soul.
